Hi Friends and Family!

It's Max here, can you believe that I am now 30 weeks old????!!!! 7 whole months on Tuesday!

As usual, I am ever the happy cheerful little guy, even though this has been a bit of a long week for me (and for Mommy and Daddy!) I came down with my first ever case of croup, which, let me tell you, is no fun at all! I had a barking cough, a really really stuffed nose, and I wasn't sleeping really well because my coughing would wake me up. But through it all I tried my very best to be cheery, Mommy and Daddy are so proud of me. The croup is almost all the way gone now, just a little bit congested, so hopefully in the next few days I will be feeling one hundred percent again!
One more big thing that happened to me this past week is...I got my first tooth!!! Mommy was right in thinking it was coming last week, but boy oh boy is it here now!!! It's teeny and white and sharp! I am also practising my sitting up all by myself, I can only sit up for a few seconds, but I am getting the hang of it, it won't be long now!

I have been eating lots more solid foods lately too, I LOVE fruits, and mommy has been letting my have some finger foods, mostly these little sweet potato puffs for babies that I can easily gum up and swallow, I like them a lot. Next month I get to try meats and yogurt for the first time, I am sure I will like those things too! Although I discovered that I HATE green beans, I spit them out each time, no matter how mommy tries to disguise them or sneak them in my mouth, out they come right away, gross. (Just like Dad - Tim)

Mommy and Daddy found a new house, so we will be moving March 31st, I am very excited, it is a safer place for me to crawl around in once I learn to crawl and I will even have my own playroom! Wow! Please wish Mommy and Daddy lots of luck, because they are not looking forward to all the packing and moving, apparantly it's a lot of work. Not for me though, I am going to hang out with Auntie Sarah for the moving day!

So anyway everyone, I hope you are all doing great, can't wait to see you again!

Lots of love,
Baby Max

Hello Everybody!

It's Max here, with your latest dose of super cuteness!

Mommy and Daddy just can't believe how big I am getting, Mommy thinks a teeny tiny tooth is starting to emerge (I won't let her get a good look, but she thinks she can feel it) and I know that's a sign that I am growing up!!!

I am rolling over all over the place, I am SO good at it by now, I just roll and roll and roll, you have to keep a really good eye on me if I am on the bed or couch to make sure I don't roll off! So far so good though! My hair is starting to get thicker too, although I still have my awesome bald spot in the back from rubbing my head back and forth at night, hahaha. I am getting very interested in Mommy and Daddy's faces too, I love to grab them and look in their mouth or try to put my fingers up their noses (which they don't like, I don't know why) but I am just trying to figure things out!

Mommy lets me have these big baby teething biscuits sometimes too, I love them, they make a HUGE mess and stick like glue all over my face but boy are they tasty!

This weekend Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Rob, Auntie Kathy and my cousin Abby all went to Ikea, where Mommy and Daddy bought a brand new bed, it was fun, although I fell asleep halfway through the trip! There are lots of interesting people to watch at Ikea, I love to people watch! It was lots of fun, and good to spend sometime with my Aunt and Uncle, they are lots of fun to hang out with!

I am starting to get a bit of separation anxiety lately, I don't like it if Mommy leaves the room, I start to fuss and sometimes even cry....Mommy says it's a sign of things to come! Uh Oh!

Mommy got me some cool new sunglasses, she didn't think I would like them, but I really do! I get very excited to have them on, maybe things look funny when I wear them, but I sent a few pictures of me wearing them so you can see how cool I look!

Anyway Friends and Family, I love you all very much! I hope you are doing really well!

Love and snuggles,
Baby Max (and Kristie and Tim)

Hi Guys!

It's Max, I am now 28 weeks old!!! (or technically almost 6 and a half months old!)

In my last newsletter, I told you how I had my doctor's appointment and got those yucky needles that gave me a fever. Well the fever lasted for 3 days (at 103 degrees) so Mommy and Daddy took me back to see the doctor who determined that I had a stuffy nose and a throat infection, all of which was making me a very unhappy baby indeed. But thanks to some tlc and baby tylenol from Mommy and Daddy, by Wednesday I was starting to feel lots better. Now I am totally back to my old self.

Not too much else is new with me so far, I am still rolling over like crazy, and Mommy and Daddy are helping me to learn how to sit up all by myself. Sometimes I can sit up for about 15 seconds before I fall over, so slowly I am getting the hang of it! Slowly but surely!

Mommy and Daddy got me this giant stuffed Hippo, which I love (I picked it out out of a line up of 3 different big stuffed toys) I sent a picture of me with him. He is literally as big as I am!!! I like grabbing him and stuffing him in my face, don't ask me why! hahaha I am doing lots and lots of babbling these days...Mommy is trying to get me to say mama and dada (I have said both before but only a fluke), so far with no luck, but I always think it is funny and just laugh at her instead. I am also eating much more solid food so I can gain some more weight, which I love, yum yum, I especially love this apple/blueberry sauce mommy got for me, it is so so tasty!

Well, everyone, I hope you are all doing great! Enjoy the pictures,

Love and slobbery kisses,

Baby Max

Hello Friends and Family!

It's Max here with my newsletter to tell you the news all about me!

I am now 27 weeks old and having so much fun! I have pretty much perfected the art of rolling over in all directions so now I am working on sitting up all by myself. I haven't quite got it yet, but Mommy and Daddy help me practice all the time. Sometimes they think I am just trying to skip that step all together as it often looks like I am trying to crawl! When I have tummy time i gather my knees up under my belly and push forward kind of like a snake or little snail, lol. I don't go very far, but I can move forward a bit by doing that! And then other times Mommy and Daddy think I may just skip crawling and go right to walking as I LOVE to be standing all the time, I am very good at it.

I also LOVE to type! I sent some pictures of me "typing" I love to bang on the computer keyboard and press all the buttons. Sometimes though it can cause problems, like the other day I did something that made all the words on the computer disappear, even the words on the internet! haha, but Daddy figured out how to fix it. I sent some pictures of me playing with my cat, whiskey too. I just LOVE him and he is very patient with me, even when I like to snuggle or pull his fur.
I had my 6 month doctor's appointment yesterday, not too much fun, since I had to get my needles. One in each leg, not fun at all. I weigh 17.2 pounds now, which is less than everyone thought I weighed, Mommy was guessing around 19 pounds. My doctor says I should have gained a bit more weight than that (only 1 pound in 2 months) but says not to worry, just that I am probably ready for a lot more "real" foods, and that I have to start having a breakfast, lunch and dinner of solids in addition to my bottles, so yum yum for me! Mommy totally forgot to ask how long I am now, so she is going to measure me once she finds her measuring tape!

Unfortunately I did not react well to my needles this time, my legs were very very sore and I had a high fever of 103 degrees, which was making me pretty miserable, I was up most of that night so we had to cancel our weekend plans and just hang out at home. I am starting to feel a little bit better now though, after a bath and some tylenol. It's no fun having a fever!

Other than that though I am a super happy little guy! I said "dada" for the first time too....I don't really associate it with Daddy yet, but all in good time! I tend to do most of my talking at bedtime (go figure) as soon as I lie down for sleep I babble on and on for about a half an hour until a wear myself out and fall asleep. At least I am not crying though!

Anyway everyone, I hope you are all doing great, I can't wait to see you all again!

Lots of love,
Baby Max
