Hello Friends and Family!!

It's Max, I am now 17 weeks old and as of today, officially 4 months old, can you believe it??? I am getting so big and grown up now.

I had my 4 month check up today and I did not like it one bit. I had to get my needles. Yuck. I screamed and screamed, but after a few minutes I calmed down and even gave mom a smile to let her know I still loved her. I know weigh 16 pounds and am 26.5 inches long. I am very tall for my age, in the top 90th percentile!! Must get those genes from Daddy.

One new thing I have started in the past week is eating cereal!! Dr.Taylor gave mom the go ahead to start me on some big boy foods, but she had already tried it out with me. I love it, I get really excited, and although I spit out just as much as I eat I am learning how to eat from a spoon, very tasty stuff!

I am still getting the hang of sleeping through the night...this past week I haven't been so good at it but last night I slept for almost 11 hours straight! Mom and Dad were so happy! Maybe I will try to do that again tonight!

I still love grabbing things and putting them in my mouth. I am getting very good at grabbing mommy's hair when she isn't looking, ha ha ha! I laugh a lot and am very ticklish, just like Mom!

Anyway everyone, I hope I can see you all soon!

Lots of Love,
Baby (big boy) Max!

Hi Friends and Family!

I keep waiting for Mom to get bored of sending a newsletter about me every single week, but so far she never tires of sharing with the people I love just how cute and amazing I am! I can't say that I blame her!

I am now 16 weeks old, although I am technically not 4 months old for real until the end of this month. In one more week I will be going back to the doctor to have my check up and uh oh...my next round of needles! Obviously I have no idea they are coming, but mom is really dreading it because she knows how upset I got last time, but I am sure I will be fine!

This weekend was a very busy weekend for me! On Saturday Mom's friend, my Auntie Melanie came over early in the morning to hang out and then spend the day out on the town with mom while I had some quality time with dad, we had fun. That night Mommy and Daddy had an event to go to so I got to hang out with Auntie Sarah, she babysits me and I like her a lot, she magically always gets me to fall asleep! The next day my Uncle Rob, Auntie Kathy and cousin's Asher and Abby came over for a visit. Asher chased the cats around and Abby and I hung out for a bit on the couch looking at each other. She is only a few weeks older than me, I think we will grow up to be good friends! They brought me some neat stuff including a Christmas sweater with a snowman on it that was really cool, I sent some pictures of me wearing it, don't I look oh so handsome? It certainly was a busy weekend for me!

I am still sleeping through the night, which makes mommy and daddy so so happy, but I don't like falling asleep sometimes at night so it can still be tiresome! But all in all I am a very happy baby! I smile and laugh all the time and am ever mastering my skill of grabbing things and sticking them in my mouth, things like my bib, my jammies, mommy's hair if I catch her off guard or her shirt or basically anything I can get my hands on. Luckily for Mommy and Daddy I don't crawl so I am not too much work yet!! But when I learn to crawl, watch out!

Anyway everyone, I love you lots and hope you are doing as well as me!
Lots of love,
Baby Max (and Tim and Kristie)

Hello Friends and Family!

It is baby Max writing you again and sending along pictures to show you how cute I am getting!

Not too much has happened in Max land this past week, Mom and Dad have been sick with a cold so they have been "laying low" which means a lot of hanging out at home, which is fine by me!

I am still loving my new bathtub, thank goodness, so I get to have a bath every day or every other day and I am learning how to splash. I kick water at Mommy and when she says "hey!" I laugh. I also splash water at the cats who are always nearby when it is bathtime. (of course my splashing is mostly accidental, but I still think it is funny when I do it!)

I also love being held up in the air to "fly" I smile HUGE smiles, I'll make sure to send a picture of that in my next newsletter!

On a health note, I have been having some ah-hem, digestive issues this past week, so my doctor told mommy and daddy to give me a really small bottle with a mixture of apple/prune juice and water once a day to help out. All I can say is: mmmmmm yummy! I drink it all up, and hopefully this will help things out for me!

I also started sleeping THROUGH THE NIGHT over this past week! I know this makes mommy so so happy. Basically I go to bed around 10pm get up around 6am to eat and then back to bed until around 8:30 or 9. A few nights I got up at 4 to eat instead of 6, but most if the time I have learned how to sleep all night long so my parents can finally get a rest!

Anyway loved ones, I hope you are all doing well and I hope I get to see you all sometime soon!

Lots of slobbery kisses,
Baby Max
(and Kristie and Tim, of course)

Hi Everybody!

I hope you are all doing well and having lots of fun like I am!

I am 14 weeks old now and learned so many new things this week! I now know how to grab things really well, I like to grab my bib or blanket or a little toy and stick it in my mouth. I can now grab my toes most of the times I try too.

Mom tried out a new kind of bathtub to see if that would help me like my baths better and boy did it ever! I posted a picture of me in my new tub, now I like my bath very much!

I also rolled over for the first time this week! Boy is that tough! I posted some pictures of me doing that too, sometimes I need a little help to get started and it takes a lot of grunting and groaning but I can usually get myself all the way over now, even if I don't know what to do once I get rolled over! lol

This weekend Gramma Shaw came to get me and mom and we went for a visit in Kingston. Here's a picture of me with my Uncle Rylande, my Uncle Dylan was too scared to hold me, but I liked him too. Gramma's cat, Callie really like me, she kept coming over and licking me. I gave her big smiles.

Anyway, I can't wait to see all of you, miss you lots!

Love Baby Max
