Hello Everyone!

I hope you are doing really really well!

Not too much new has happened this past week, mostly I have just been perfecting my new skills, crawling and standing mostly.

Today I had a bit of an accident while trying to stand, I didn't quite make it and bit my mouth. My tooth poked into my lip making it bleed and making me cry...a lot. But Mommy and an ice cube wrapped in a washcloth to suck on made me feel better. The first big bump of many I guess!!

Mommy Daddy and me went for a long walk outside today, we visited our friend Laurie and her family and I ate some dirt. I am still undecided if it was yummy or yucky, mommy didn't want to let me try another taste to make sure. too bad. We also went out to eat for brunch, I had toast and fruit salad, yum yum, and to the walmart to buy some stuff. I love going to resturants, I was so excited. I also love going on the subway, especially if mommy or daddy let me stand and look out the window, it is very exciting stuff for a not quite 10 month old baby!

One big peice of news that has happened over the past few days is me saying "mama" and "dada".....for REAL. I have been babbling them for some time now, but it is becoming more and more obvious that just over the past week I have figured out what they mean, usually I only say "mama" when I am upset, reaching for Mommy, On Wednesday night when Daddy left to go see a soccer game I waved and said "dada" clear as can be! I am such a smart little boy!

I am waving hello and goddbye a lot lately, I am finally getting the hang of what that means too. Can't wait to see you and show you all my new skills!!!

Hi Everyone!!!

I am now 40 weeks old, 9 and a half months already!!! I can't believe that in less than 3 months I will be 1 YEAR OLD!!!! Yikes says Mom.

Happy Mother's day to all the mom's out there!

This week was very exciting because I figured out how to CRAWL!!! Yes sir! I am a crawling machine going here and there and back again, I certainly keep Mommy and Daddy on their toes! I am also constantly crawling somewhere like the couch or coffee table and pulling myself up to standing. ALL. THE. TIME. (mommy says "sigh"). But all in all it is lots of fun. I am such a happy baby these days now that I can go places, I am all smiles and giggles all the time. We have been going to the park every day, I LOVE the baby swing, love the breeze in my hair. I HATE wearing a hat, mommy finally found one that has a strap so I can't pull it off, but that doesn't mean I don't try. I have already thrown 2 hats overboard off my stroller when out for a walk (without Mommy or Daddy noticing) and Mommy got tired of buying new hats, haha.

I love going places, especially the park. I am just as happy to sit on a blanket on the ground and play with the grass and pick up and throw little leaves and sticks that I come across, so much fun, I am loving this nice weather, which means I get to go outside everyday!

Today we went to the Beaches for Mother's day, we ate dinner in a very busy restaurant, which I loved, I was very excited. I also tried a little bite of Mommy's icecream while on our walk and cried for almost 3 blocks when I couldn't have anymore. Who knew icecream would be so delicious???

Hello Everyone!!!

It's Max here and I have SO much to tell you this week! I have been so so busy, going all over the place and having lots of fun along the way!

On Saturday we went to my great-Papa's memorial service in Bobcageon, which was sad and happy at the same time, happy mostly because I got to see lots of friends and family, I was a very good boy, even though by the end of the day I was so so tired!

On Monday, Mommy, Daddy and me drove to Kitchener to see my big sister, Nisha, and her mom Maire, we had a great time and went to this really fun park, which I missed because I fell asleep once we got there, LOL. But I enjoyed getting to see those guys a lot!

We also visited a big pet store on Monday night and I got so so excited over the fishies and especially the cute puppies who were jumping around, but when Daddy started to wheel me away from them I cried and cried, I didn't want to leave. LOL

Today (wednesday) we went to the zoo! I have never been to the zoo before, some of the animals I didn't really "get"...I guess I didn't really know they were animals and if they weren't moving around I wasn't interested, but I did like the giant fish aquariums and the gorillas, hippos and the big polar bear who swam up to the glass to
see me. By the end of the day I was pretty pooped and glad to be home.

I had my doctor's appointment on Tuesday and afterwards we went for lunch with my Uncles Jay and Cory and my friend (Uncle Jay's girlfriend) Ashley. It was fun, I tried some pasta and a mushroom for the first time, yum yum! I now weigh 19.9 pounds and am just over 29 inches long, the doctor says I am the PERFECT size and am growing very very well. I had fun at this appointment, playing with (aka: grabbing from the doctor) all the doctor's neat stuff. I have 4 teeth now and love to chomp on things, I have also learned how to wave "hi" If you wave and say "HI!" I wave back and yell, it's very funny. All in all I am doing GREAT!

Anyway, sorry this letter this week is so long!! LOL, I hope you are all doing really really great, I miss you all!
