It's Max here and boy oh boy am I getting more and more grown up every day!!!
The past 2 weeks have been an adventure for me, I am learning all sorts of new things and doing lots of cool stuff too.
This week I learned how to go from lying down to sitting up, all by myself. Mommy discovered that when she had me lying in my crib and next thing she knew I was sitting up playing with toys. I am very good at it. I can't crawl yet, but I can move around in circles when I am on my tummy, but I sometimes get frustrated when I can't "go" anywhere.
I learned how to say lots of DA DA DA too, I babble on and on and on and love to blow lots of bubbles, which is why, in most of my pictures I have a wet or dirty shirt on, sometimes mommy forgets a bib, or I pull mine off and slobber all over everything! That's what babies are good at! I am getting very good at feeding myself, I eat just about every kind of baby food now, and I have also tried, yogurt, bits of bread/bagel, mashed potatoes, little bits of melon, strawberries and bananas, also I have tried rice. Yum Yum, I love trying new things.
My favorite toys these days are probably my Monkey, who I smash into my face every night to fall asleep, my blocks, any toy I can bring in the bath with me and of course, Mommy's potato masher. I have to be really careful with it, but sometimes mommy lets me play with it, it is so cool!
I think I am getting another tooth soon, as I have been a bit cranky on and off, but hopefully soon it will be there and no longer bugging me. I get up earlier in the morning now too, much to mommy and daddy's delight (not!) usually around 7am or so. But I am such a happy baby that they don't mind.

Sorry my newsletter is late this week, we were all over the place on the weekend and the past couple of days doing so much fun stuff!!!
This past weekend Mommy, Daddy and I went to Nana and Papa Knights house to visit, and for my cousin Abby's dedication. Abby is not too much older than me so it was nice to have someone my own size to hang out with! I also got to hang out with her Mommy and daddy, Aunt Kathy and Uncle Rob, my cousin Asher and my big sister, Nisha....did I say it was SO much fun!?!
Then on Monday, mommy and I took the train to go visit my Nana and Grampa McColl, Uncle Cory and Uncle Jay and their girlfriend's Ashley and Amber....that was also so much fun. They have a big puppy dog and lots of pet birdies, but my most favorite thing of all was the little fish tank they had with the little fishies swimming in it. I would get so excited and put my nose right up to the glass to see the fish, it was so funny. I loved it so much that Mommy promised me that when we move into our new house she would get me a little fish tank with some fishies just for me!
As for me, I have been a busy little bee, learning all sorts of new things lately. I am "talking" a lot more over the past couple of days, lots of ra-ra-ra, ba-ba-ba and every once in a while, a da-da, very exciting stuff. My favorite thing to do when I am happy or excited is wiggle. I wiggle back and forth all the time, it makes everyone laugh. I am also learning to lean forward and give kisses too, so cute.
All in all I am such a good baby, I am eating lots too...I had chicken for the first time, it's weird, and I make faces, but I eat it all up. I also had a strawberry yesterday...yum yum.

It's Max here, telling you all about what's been happening with me over the past week!
I am getting better and better at sitting up all by myself, I just about have it, I can sit up when I am on the couch (under a watchful eye of course) but sometimes I still fall backwards or to either side, so I am still practicing, but I love it. I am quite happy to just sit there and play with some toys, I much prefer it to lying down, I guess because I can see what's going on around me better that way!
This weekend Mommy, Daddy and I got to go to the hospital to see my new little buddy, Leo, who was born on Thursday, he is very tiny and very cute, and to be quite honest, I wasn't all that interested, haha, maybe when he starts to actually do stuff! But he is a super cute little guy, it was nice to see his Mommy and Daddy, Joey and Ursula too.
I am finding a lot of things quite hilarious these days, sometimes I will roll onto my tummy and laugh and laugh and squeal and neither Mommy or Daddy can figure out what's so funny, but obviously something is to me! On Saturday we were at a resturant and there was a mirror behind Mommy and I was laughing so hard the whole resturant could hear me, very hilarious.
No more teeth so far, but I know I will get more soon. I am getting better at eating little finger foods, Mommy will put some in the tray of my exersaucer and I gobble them up, the ones that don't end up on the floor, that is. They make a huge sticky mess, but I think it is great fun. Lately at nap and bedtime I have decided I HATE having the covers on, sometimes I scream and scream and kick them off, so I have started to have to wear warmer jammies so I can sleep with no covers. I have been sleeping in my own bed all by myself lately too, and have been doing really good, sleeping the whole night through still. I know that Mommy and Daddy are close by, so I do just fine. Mommy is getting better at sleeping without me too! hahaha
Anyway friends and family, that's about it for me, wish Mommy and Daddy lots of luck with their packing up for the new house, we move in less than a month now, and they are very stressed about all the things that need to get done! I am looking forward to seeing my new house and new room!
